UAE Olympic Academy offers course on professional contracts for athletes

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 7, 2023: The United Arab Emirates Olympic Committee has announced that the National Olympic Academy will be holding a training course on contracts for professional athletes on Saturday, February 11.

The three-hour course, entitled “Professional Athletes Contracts Programme”, will be held in collaboration with the Quattro Sports Center in Ajman.

The lecturer will be Omar Hassan bin Hanifa, an advisor and member of the Sharjah Sports Board. He is also Chairman of the Legal Committee, General Director of the Professional Institute for Consulting and Sports Studies.

The lecture will focus on the career of a professional athlete, sports contracts, players’ agents and contracts, contracts and their legal interpretation and the characteristics of professional sportsmanship. The course will also offer practical guidelines, applications and practices in professional sports contracts.

The National Olympic Academy will present certificates to the athletes who complete the course.
