Korea hires American archery coach for Hangzhou Asian Games

Seoul, Korea, February 7, 2023: The Korea Archery Association has announced that American Reo Wilde has been appointed coach of the national compound archery team.

Wilde, 49, hails from Pocatello, Idaho and took up archery in 1992. His international debut came just three years later.

The American coach will join the team's all-round training in the United States starting February 6 in preparation for the 2023 Berlin World Championships and 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8.

According to World Archery, Wilde has won 11 gold medals in individual and team events at World Championships, along with one silver and one bronze.
