Sana’a, Yemen, February 2, 2023: The General Secretariat of the Yemen Olympic Committee has reminded members who are eligible to send in their nominations for membership of the Board of Directors.
In a statement on the Yemen Olympic Committee website, members were asked to send in their nominations before the deadline, next Tuesday, February 7, which will be the cut-off date for receiving applications for the Board of Directors.
Elections for the Board of Directors will be held in March.
Earlier this year, the members of the General Assembly of the Yemen Olympic Committee met in Aden and it was agreed to elect 17 members for the new Board of Directors.
This will include all the top positions including the President, First Deputy, Second Deputy, Secretary General, Finance Officer, plus 12 other members.
