Manama, Bahrain, February 2, 2023: The Palestine Olympic Committee has congratulated Susan Al Shalabi on her election into the Asian Football Confederation Executive Committee.
Shalabi, who is Vice President of the Palestinian Football Federation, was elected AFC Female Executive Committee member for the West Zone for the term 2023-2027.
The other female members elected were: South Zone, Mahfuza Akhter (Bangladesh); ASEAN Zone, Kanya Keomany (Laos/FIFA Council member); East Zone, Han Un Gyong (DPR Korea).
The elections were held at the 33rd AFC Congress in Manama, Bahrain on February 1.
The Congress was attended by Jibril Al-Rajoub, President of the Palestinian Football Federation and of the Palestine Olympic Committee, Football Federation Executive Office members Susan Shalabi and Kamal Obaidat and Federation Secretary General Faras Abu Hilal.
