Ramallah, Palestine, January 26, 2023: The Medical Department of the Palestine Olympic Committee conducted nutritional tests on the women’s under-20 national football team at the Joseph Blatter Football Academy in Al-Bireh.
The athlete’s weight and body components of fat and muscle were measured and nutritional advice provided on food quality and quantity for individual players.
The checks were carried out by the Olympic Medical Centre nutritionists Reem Masharqa and Diala Shaheen in coordination with the women’s national team coach Gina Khanouf.
These tests were part of the overall plan of the Olympic Medical Centre and its nutrition department to monitor athletes in different sports, and aim to improve their physical fitness by focusing on diets.
