IJF Academy experts assist Kyrgyzstan to organise judo course for coaches

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, January 18, 2023: The National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan, together with the national judo federation, is organising a technical course for judo coaches under the IOC Olympic Solidarity programme.

The course will take place at the judo academy in Bishkek and will run from March 11-17.

The NOC held a meeting on Wednesday, January 18 with experts from the IJF Academy of the International Judo Federation, Mesut Kapan and Kai Gezeker, on the preparations for the practical session of the Level 1 Instructors Course.

The IJF will send coaching instructors to train 14 national federation coaches during the week-long course. This workshop will be the final stage of the online training of the IJF Academy.

According to new IJF requirements, every coach must train and have an IJF Academy certificate as a judo instructor.
