Tehran, Iran, January 18, 2023: The National Olympic Committees of Iran and Singapore are set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on closer cooperation in sports next month.
The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Iran, Dr. Seyed Manaf Hashemi, and the Secretary General of the Singapore NOC, Chris Chan, held an online meeting on Monday, January 16, where both parties discussed an MOU to strengthen cooperation on the sports field.
Among the topics looked at was ways for closer collaboration between coaches, holding of training camps and joint friendly competitions between the two countries.
At the end of the virtual meeting it was decided that, after the final approval of the draft, both NOCs will sign the MOU either in Singapore or in Tehran in February.
