Bhutan NOC runs Olympic Solidarity training course for sports administrators

Thimphu, Bhutan, January 11, 2023: The Bhutan Olympic Committee, with the support of Olympic Solidarity, began a three-day course on Tuesday, January 10 for Sports Administrators Training.

Nearly 30 participants from National Sports Federations and Associations have enrolled for the course, which is being conducted by officials from the Bhutan Olympic Committee.

The main goal of the three-day course is to spread the message of effective sports management principles.

A total of 14 national federations and associations have sent administrators to take part in the training course. The 14 sports represented are athletics, basketball, boxing, cricket, chess, football, golf, indigenous games, karate, shooting, table tennis, tennis, volleyball and taekwondo.

The course ends on Thursday, January 12.
