Kathmandu, Nepal, January 5, 2023: Appointment letters were handed over to 12 members of the Medical Commission of the Nepal Olympic Committee by the NOC President, Hon. Jeevan Ram Shrestha, on Wednesday, January 4.
The Chair of the Medical Commission, Dr. Saroj Krishna Shrestha, was among the dozen members who received their appointment letters at the NOC Headquarters in Satdobato.
The other members are: Dr. Shankar Pratap Singh, Dr. Manoj Man Shrestha, Dr. Supri Raj Shrestha, Dr. Suman Rawal, Dr. Rosy Shrestha, Dr. Nabees Man Singh Pradhan, Dr. Gyanendra Bikram Shah, Dr. Sushan Vaidya, Dr. Padam Bahadur Khadka, Dr. Raju Dangol and Dr. Pramod Devkota.
The 12 members are split among the medical commission, anti-doping commission and sports science commission.
Also on Wednesday, the NOC President bade farewell to two table tennis players - Rubin Maharjan and Sanyog Kapali - who will represent Nepal at the Asian WTTC Continental stage tournament in Doha, Qatar from January 6-12. Kapali is an Olympic scholarship holder.
Present at this farewell ceremony was the President of the All-Nepal Table Tennis Association, Chaturananda Rajvaidya.
