Thimphu, Bhutan, December 27, 2022: The Bhutan Olympic Committee conducted a session on Olympic Movement and Safe Sports Policy for newly recruited school sports instructors in Thimphu on Friday, December 23.
The training programme, held in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Sports, was attended by a total of 68 school sports instructors.
Officials from the Bhutan Olympic Committee conducted the one-day training course with the focus mainly on keeping sport healthy, safe and fun, and safeguarding athletes.
Meanwhile, on December 17, the BOC joined the nation in celebrating the 115th National Day by offering humble prayers for the everlasting peace and prosperity of the Kingdom.
