Thailand Olympic Academy promotes role of sports organisations

Bangkok, Thailand, December 25, 2022: The Thailand Olympic Academy, under the auspices of the National Olympic Committee, organised the “Olympic Movement for Sport Organizations in Thailand” from December 14-16 at the Grand Tower Inn Hotel.  

The opening ceremony was held on December 14 and chaired by Dr. Supitr Samahito, Director of the TOA and Vice President of NOCT. 

The organising committee welcomed a number of distinguished lecturers: Dr. Pongsak Swatdikiat, Asst. Prof. Dr. Issadee Kutintara, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suriyan Sompong, Asst. Prof. Dr. Arnon Wanla, Mr. Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai, Mr. Thunpawat Techapuvadolvitit, Dr. Parinya Kwanmuangvanich and Dr. Amphorn Sriyabhaya. 

Mr. Thana Chaiprasit, Vice President and Treasurer of NOCT, chaired the closing ceremony and presented certificates to the 20 participants comprised of executive members of Sports Associations of Thailand, members of the Women and Sport Sub-Commission and executive members of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education. 

The TOA gave each participant a Sport Administration Manual on Managing an Olympic Sport Organization and the Olympic Charter for their attendance.
