Amman, Jordan, December 22, 2022: The Jordan Olympic Committee held a workshop on Tuesday, December 20, for national federations on how to increase the effectiveness of their organisations.
The workshop which was held at the Generations for Peace Building in Al Hussein Youth City was inaugurated by JOC Secretary General Nasser Majali in the presence of HRH Princess Alia bint Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Equestrian Federation.
The theme of the workshop ‘Developing the effectiveness of Sports Organisations’ aimed at increasing the performance of federations to ensure the sustainability of their work and to enhance the confidence of management.
The JOC spelled out the clear, objective and practical criteria used for the classification of sports federations and how resources were distributed transparently and fairly.
The directors of the departments of the JOC also explained the services available and provided by the various sections of the Committee to sports federations so as to enhance Jordanian sport and its development.
