Dili, Timor-Leste, December 21, 2022: The National Olympic Committee of Timor-Leste organised the 5th Annual General Assembly at Hotel Novo Turismo on December 21, 2022. The meeting was attended by 19 National Federations.
The General Assembly members approved the activity plan and financial accounts of 2022 that were presented by the Secretary General and Treasurer respectively.
The presentation by the Secretary General about the activities planned for 2023 was unanimously approved by the Congress.
The activities and events include preparations for the SEA Games in Cambodia in May and the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in September, as well as training development for coaches and sports administrators.
The National Federations appreciated the work of the NOC and recommended that the activities in 2023 should focus more on athletes and sports development.
The Annual General Assembly also approved the Archery National Federation as a new member of NOC Timor-Leste.
