Sana’a, Yemen, December 19, 2022: Yemen Olympic Committee Secretary General Mohamed Abdullah Al-Ahjri met with the women’s archery team before they headed to their next international meet.
Yemen’s women’s team will be competing in the Sharjah 2022 Asia Cup Leg 3 in the United Arab Emirates from December 20-25 – an event that is also part of the qualification process for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The Yemen Olympic Committee Secretary General urged the archers to draw on their experience of participating in other events and to put on a good display to project a positive image of Yemen, its history, culture and civilization.
The four members of the team have been training all year and at an intensive camp for one month especially for this event.
