Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 15, 2022: The United Arab Emirates Olympic Committee reports that the UAE Women’s Sports Federation organised the Women's Sports Summit with the aim of overseeing a better future for women’s sport.
The summit was organised in cooperation with women's sports associations to enhance mutual cooperation and exchange in the field of women's sports, and to benefit from this experience. It was also to highlight best practices and highlight leading success stories.
Several themes and topics were presented and discussed, including “Inspiring Reality”, “The committee role axis”, “The role of sports institutions in supporting women’s sport”, “The role of media in promoting a positive outlook on women’s sport” and the National Games.
Several NOC and sports association leaders took part, led by Her Excellency Engineer Azza bint Sulaiman, Assistant General Secretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the UAE National Olympic Committee.
