Hangzhou, China, December 14, 2022: The Deputy Secretary General of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC), Chen Weiqiang, visited the first Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou.
Mr Chen, who is also Vice Mayor of Hangzhou, paid particular interest in the Hangzhou Asian Games-themed booth at the main venue of the expo on December 12.
He also saw a special digital exhibition demonstrating China's achievements and the Digital Zhejiang exhibition, and visited the booths of the official prestige partners of the Hangzhou Asian Games.
HAGOC is pledging to host a “Smart Asian Games” in terms of digital technology when the Games take place in Hangzhou – capital of Zhejiang province in eastern China – from September 23 to October 8, 2023.
The four-day Global Digital Trade Expo kicked off on Sunday, December 11. Around 800 leading digital trade companies from China and abroad are showcasing their new products and technologies during the expo, which ends on Wednesday, December 14.
