Amman, Jordan, December 12, 2022: The Jordanian Taekwondo Federation was awarded the title of Best Federation in the World in 2022 by World Taekwondo.
The Vice President of the Jordanian Taekwondo Federation, Hazim Al-Naimat, accepted the award from the President of World Taekwondo, Choue Chung Won, during the closing round of the Riyadh 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Prix final on Saturday, December 10.
The international body praised Jordan’s teams for their achievements this year – the latest being winning two gold medals, by Juliana Al-Sadiq and Zaid Mustafa, in the final round of the 10-star Grand Prix Championship in the Saudi capital.
World Taekwondo also commended the Jordanian federation’s support for the Humanitarian Taekwondo Foundation project which enables Syrian refugees to train in the martial art at the Arzaq refugee camp.
