Tashkent, Uzbekistan, December 8, 2022: The Sports Medicine Department of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a psychology seminar for athletes this month.
The seminar was conducted by Russian psychologist Temur Sultanov and was attended by more than 300 athletes.
“Psychological preparation is one of the most important factors on the way to victory,” the Uzbekistan NOC posted on its Facebook page. “Taking this into account, it can be said such seminars will help our athletes to achieve new victories in the future.”
At the seminar, 82 athletes had put forward individual questions to the course instructor Sultanov who had dealt with each query giving necessary recommendations.
Psychologists at the Sports Medicine Department had also participated and gained valuable information and experience from Sultanov.
