Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, December 6, 2022: Asia’s National Olympic Committee have marked new dates in their busy sporting calendar for 2023 – July in Paris.
On the third day of the four-day Olympic Council of Asia/Olympic Solidarity Regional Forum on Tuesday, December 6, delegates from East Asia and South East Asia were informed of the dates of the Chef de Mission Seminar for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
July 13 is reserved for arrivals, with the seminar activities taking place over four days from July 14-17. There are optional venue tours and departure from Paris on July 18-19.
The dates of the CDM Seminar for NOC team leaders were announced during the online presentation from Paris 2024.
Before the CDM Seminar next July, Paris 2024 will host three batches of virtual venue visits in 3D. The first batch of venues will be available to visit virtually from January 2023, the second batch from March 2023 and the third batch in the middle of next year.
Closing the session on Paris 2024, the OCA’s Asian Games Director Haider Farman thanked Olympic Solidarity and the IOC in Lausanne as well as Paris 2024 for all the information delivered to the NOCs.
“Tomorrow (Wednesday), we will turn our attention to the OCA,” he said.
“We will present our Olympic Solidarity Continental Programme as well as provide updates on our two OCA games next year: the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8 and the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Bangkok and Chonburi, Thailand, from November 17-26.
“We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and presenting all the updates on our two games and the continental programme available to all our NOCs.”
