Hangzhou, China, November 29, 2022: The Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) has introduced its smart application overseas for the first time.
The one-stop digital platform known as “Smart Hangzhou 2022” made its overseas debut at the Singapore FinTech Festival earlier this month and attracted many international observers.
“During the Hangzhou Asian Games, the platform can provide the one-stop solution to meet the needs of multiple scenarios such as food, accommodation, travel, tourism, shopping and entertainment,” HAGOC said.
One local Singaporean customer, who had visited Hangzhou as a tourist, described Smart Hangzhou 2022 as “comprehensive, intelligent and innovative”, while others who had never been to Hangzhou appreciated the services and information available.
“Like Chinese users, they can enjoy convenient mobile payment and local digital service to fully feel the beauty of Smart Hangzhou 2022 with a mobile phone,” HAGOC added.
Another feature was the digital eternal flame as well as the mobile payment experience. There was also a countdown clock to the 19th Asian Games, which will take place in Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8, 2023.
