Colombo, Sri Lanka, November 28, 2022: The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka concluded its third Sport Administrators Course for 2022 at Olympic House, Colombo on Sunday, November 27.
The four-day course from November 24-27 was supported by the IOC’s Olympic Solidarity programme and a total of 18 participants representing various sports associations and national federations took part.
The comprehensive programme was conducted by B.L.H. Perera, Academic Programme Director of Sri Lanka NOC, Ms. Olivia Gamage, National Course Director, Rear Admiral Shemal Fernando and Gobinath Sivarajah, both provisional National Course Directors.
Meanwhile, London 2012 Olympics swimmer Reshika Udugampola received a World Olympians certificate of recognition in Lausanne, Switzerland last week.
Udugampola, who was one of four athletes who were personally congratulated by IOC President Thomas Bach, signed on the Olympians screen at the IOC Headquarters.
