Bangkok, Thailand, November 10, 2022: The Thailand Olympic Academy continued its work to promote Olympism, the Olympic Games and Olympic values by holding a Youth Sport Leaders Training Camp in association with the Judo Association of Thailand.
“The Youth Olympic Camp is the key to unlocking a future where all young athletes thrive. YOC provides education, sports, cultural activities and training to promote Olympism and Olympic values as well as youth camp experiences for all young athletes in Thailand,” said Asst. Prof. Dr. Suriyan Somphong.
On November 9-10, 2022, the Judo Association of Thailand together with the Thailand Olympic Academy organised the 3rd Youth Olympic Camp in 2022.
Forty young judo athletes from all over the country gathered at Amphoe Khanom in southern Thailand to discuss youth leadership and learn more about Olympism and Olympic values.
Suriyan is assistant professor at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and studied at the International Olympic Academy in Greece.
