Madrid, Spain, October 7, 2022: The President of FINA, Husain Al Musallam, said it was an honour and a privilege to meet King Felipe VI of Spain in Madrid.
“On behalf of the world Aquatics family, I was delighted to meet His Majesty King Felipe VI,” said the FINA President and OCA Director General.
“I took the opportunity to congratulate King Felipe VI on the success of the Spanish water polo teams – the men are 2022 World Champions and the women 2022 European Champions.
“This success has come as a result of the teamwork between the Spanish National Federation, the National Olympic Committee and the government, with the strong support of His Majesty.”
