Saudi Olympic President Prince Abdulaziz to lead Kingdom’s delegation at OCA General Assembly

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, October 3, 2022: HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia, is chairing the Saudi delegation at the OCA Executive Board meeting and General Assembly in Cambodia on October 3-4.

The Saudi delegation will include the SOPC Vice President and OCA Education Committee Chair HH Prince Fahad bin Jalawi, SOPC board member Prince Abdullah bin Fahad, NEOM chief executive Nadhmi Al-Nasr and Ms. Adwa Al-Arifi, who is also a member of SOPC.

The Saudi delegation will make its presentation bid to host the Asian Winter Games Trojena 2029 in NEOM megacity at the OCA General Assembly on Tuesday, October 4, and this will be followed by the signing of the host city contract.

Saudi Arabia will be the first West Asian nation to host the Asian Winter Games. These Games have previously been hosted by Japan (four times), China (twice), Korea (once) and Kazakhstan (once).

Also on the agenda at the General Assembly will be presentations from the Saudi delegation on preparations for the 7th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) Riyadh 2025 and the Asian Games Riyadh 2034.
