Beijing, China, September 25, 2022: The Asian Electronic Sports Federation and the Zhongguancun Development Group have signed a contract to jointly build and promote an international exchange platform for digital sports.
Kenneth Fok, vice chairman of the All-China Youth Federation and chairman of AESF, and Jin Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, attended the signing ceremony last Friday, September 23.
According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out cooperation in technology finance, equity investment, technology professional services and international technology parks in the digital sports industry. They will also jointly promote the development of Beijing’s digital sports industry.
This agreement will nurture the increasing exchanges and cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong, and jointly help Zhongguancun to build a world-leading science and technology park, and for Beijing to build an international science and technology innovation centre.
Other participants at the signing ceremony included Zhao Changshan, ZDG chairman; Hou Yun, First level Inspector of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun ManagementCo mmittee; Chen Jie, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports; Jia Yiwei, ZDG Deputy General Manager; Chen Weili, CEO of Digital ESports Asia, and Sebastian Lau, Director General of AESF.
