Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 10, 2022: Beach volleyball players and fans will experience a thrilling fortnight on and off the sand when for the first time two Beach Pro Tour Dubai Challenge events take place next month.
Volleyball World and the Dubai Sports Council in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates Volleyball Federation have joined hands to put on two successive Challenge events on the golden sands of Kite Beach between October 22-25 and 27-30.
The Beach Pro Tour Dubai Challenge will feature 24 of the world’s top-rated teams, both men and women, who will go head-to-head for the two titles.
Volleyball World CEO Finn Taylor said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Dubai Sports Council to bring two really exciting Challenge events to Kite Beach that will be unlike any other of our stops on the Beach Pro Tour this season.
“These two weeks will be the perfect opportunity for our athletes to demonstrate their ability and dexterity on the beach; how they deal with the challenges and how they keep in shape in order to stay at the top of their game.”
With the focus on fitness, competing athletes will also be invited to give their professional advice on how the sport can foster an active and healthy lifestyle. Fans and media will be encouraged to learn just how beneficial participating in the sport can be for the body and mind.
A festival feel at the event, which will run during the annual Dubai Fitness Challenge, will await beach fans and athletes.
