Malaysia NOC President seeks partnership with Japan’s Nittaidai

Tokyo, Japan, August 26, 2022: The President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Mohamad Norza Zakaria, paid a courtesy visit to the Nippon Sport Science University (Nittaidai) in Tokyo on Thursday, August 25.

Tan Sri Dr. Norza was accompanied by Mr. Nor’ Azam Mohd Idrus (Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Malaysia in Japan), Dato’ Kenny Goh Chee Keong (General Secretary of the Badminton Association of Malaysia) and Datuk Seri Tam Yun Tong (CEO of the Eitoshin Shoji Co Ltd). 

They were warmly received by the Nittaidai delegation headed by its Chairman, Dr. Kenshiro Matsunami.

The main objective of the courtesy visit was to explore the possibilities of establishing a partnership with the Nittaidai for the preparation of the Malaysian contingent to the future multi-sport games under the jurisdiction of OCM.

A guided tour was arranged by the Nittaidai for Tan Sri Dr. Norza to visit the sporting facilities available within its Setagaya campus in Tokyo.
