The 24-year-old Duysengalieva, who is head of the summer sports service at the Directorate of Sports in the NOC, holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Davenport University in Michigan, United States.

A former member of the Kazakhstan rhythmic gymnastics team, she will now further her studies undergoing a two-year course to get her Masters degree in the American university’s Southeast Asia branch in Hong Kong.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan Timur Kulibayev for the opportunity to receive this education.
