Seoul, Korea, July 23, 2022: An ANOC delegation led by ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg visited Seoul to discuss preparations for the XXVI ANOC General Assembly and ANOC Awards 2022.
The delegation met with senior representatives of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee who reported that preparations were going well and that Seoul would be ready to welcome the General Assembly delegates on October 18-21.
As well as holding a number of preparatory meetings, ANOC also visited the venues and accommodation that will be used for the General Assembly and ANOC Awards.
The ANOC Awards 2022 will be held on the evening of October 19 and will celebrate the best athletes and NOCs from the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.
“ANOC is happy with the preparations and has no doubt that NOCs will have an excellent experience in Seoul later this year,” ANOC said in a statement.
