Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 24, 2022: The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) celebrated Olympic Day at Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh on June 23.
The SOPC CEO, Abdulaziz Alenazi, attended the event, which witnessed the participation of the SOPC employees in the annual global celebration.
In addition, the SOPC held a public Olympic exhibition in a commercial mall in the heart of Riyadh. The exhibition included cultural and interactive activities to promote the principles and values of the Olympic movement (move-learn-discover) and to encourage all segments of society to engage in sports activities, in addition to providing souvenirs to visitors.
With thousands of visitors engaging with this special occasion, SOPC joined the worldwide celebration of Olympic Day, promoting the Olympic values, as the kingdom is investing massively to realise the objectives of Vision 2030, which puts sport in the heart of the nation’s future.
