Luang Prabang, Laos, June 24, 2022: The National Olympic Committee of Laos took their Olympic Day celebrations to Luang Prabang province on Friday, June 24.
In order to celebrate the 128th anniversary of the founding of the International Olympic Committee, Laos NOC staged a fun event for the family with a run/walk followed by a cycling rally.
There was also a women’s 3x3 basketball match at the Night Market in Luang Prabang city to capture the Olympic spirit and promote this popular format of the sport.
The events were organised to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population as well as marking the founding of the IOC and the modern Olympic Games.
