KSOC sets Olympic Day slogan competition

Seoul, Korea, June 23, 2022: The Korean Sport and Olympic Committee is holding a nationwide competition to define the meaning of the Olympic movement to mark Olympic Day 2022.

In a Facebook post, KSOC asks people to answer the following question: What are the Olympics all about?

“June 23 is Olympic Day and commemorates the establishment of the International Olympic Committee,” KSOC said.

“Olympic Day promotes the values and spirit of the Olympics for people of the world regardless of age, gender and physical ability. Various campaigns are being launched to help you participate in the movement.”

The competition is open from June 20 to June 26 and the winners will be announced on June 28. All participants are asked to share the KSOC post on their own social media accounts and then provide their answer to the question.

The competition is being held separately on Facebook and Instagram and there will be 10 different winners on each platform through a draw. The prize will prove popular – with 10 coupons for a cool mango shaved ice to fend off the summer heat.
