OCM collaborates with University of Malaya for sport administrators’ course

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, June 14, 2022: The Olympic Council of Malaysia conducted the second Sport Administrators Course from June 10-12 under the IOC’s Olympic Solidarity programme.

The course was held at the Centre for Sport and Exercise Sciences of the University of Malaya and 36 participants received the Certificate of the Sport Administrators Course issued by Olympic Solidarity.

The OCM Education and Training Committee thanked the two National Course Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selina Khoo and Mr. Ahmad Arif Astaman, for successfully conducting the second SAC.

The course was held in collaboration between the OCM and the University of Malaya (UM) and concluded on Sunday, June 12.

The closing ceremony was officiated by Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt, Vice President of OCM.

Dato’ Chong thanked all the parties for contributing to the success of the course, including the team of facilitators: Mr. Ahmad Badrulhisam Che Kassim, Mr. Chong Cheong Seong, Mdm. Farah Azlina Mohd Alkaf, Mr. Lim Cheng Kian and Mr. Yapp Su Chiew.

“It is the hope of the OCM that all of you will play a role in the Olympic Movement by transforming the knowledge that you have learnt from the three-day Sport Administrators Course into actions and then contribute your effort towards the enhancement of administration of your respective sports organisations, associations, clubs and societies,” said Dato’ Chong Kim Fatt.
