Taipei, Chinese Taipei, May 27, 2022: The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee promoted Olympic education with a series of interactive initiatives at the National University and College Athletic Games this month.
The event is an important sports gala for students, with 22 sports and 18,951 athletes, and was a big opportunity for CTOC to make contact with young adults aged from 18 to 25.
As a tradition, CTOC set up a promotion stand and interacted with coaches, athletes and sports team staff.
Chinese Taipei canoeist Wei-Han Chen, who has won two silver medals at the Asian Games, was also involved in this year’s Olympic educational activities. She designed an Olympic knowledge quiz and student-athletes could join the game on laptops, tablets or smartphones.
By playing the game, students could further understand the concept of Olympic education. There was also an event for teams of three, with the winners receiving a limited-edition Tokyo Olympics Chinese Taipei sports calendar.
A total of 907 people joined in the CTOC activity to highlight the success of the educational programme.
CTOC will continue to host activities with academic institutions to promote the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect.
