Hong Kong, China, May 27, 2022: Hong Kong’s Tokyo Olympics table tennis stars Doo Hoi-kem, Lee Ho-ching and Minnie Soo will help to launch the roving exhibition to mark the 30th anniversary of the Hong Kong Sports Institute on Saturday, May 28.

The table tennis trio, who won Olympic bronze in the women’s team event at Tokyo last summer, will join fellow Olympians Angus Ng Ka-long (badminton) and Angel Wong Hiu-ying (gymnastics) in kicking off the six-week-long campaign at a special ceremony at the New Town Plaza in Sha Tin, New Territories.

During the ceremony, the sports stars will share their personal stories of how vital the support from HKSI has been in their achievements.

The Hong Kong Sports Institute is marking its 30th anniversary with a roving interactive exhibition highlighting some of the SAR’s most superlative sporting moments.

The exhibition features one-of-a-kind Hong Kong sports memorabilia, some winning selfie opportunities, and plenty of information on the most memorable moments from the last 30 years of the Sports Institute, which is the training base for elite athletes located at Sha Tin.

The HKSI will be represented at the launch ceremony by Ron Lee, Director of Community Relations and Marketing.
