Thimphu, Bhutan, May 20, 2022: The Bhutan Olympic Committee’s Gender Equity Committee in collaboration with the Athletes’ Commission of Bhutan conducted the third round of consultative meetings with National Sports Federations (NSFs) and Sports Associations (SAs) on the Safe Sports Policy on Wednesday, May 18.
Upon receiving endorsement and support from the NSFs and SAs, the formal launch is scheduled in the coming week, where NSFs and SAs will sign a MoU for Safe Sports initiatives.
The policy was developed with the aim to safeguard the coaches, athletes and the people working in the sports fraternity.
