Lausanne, Switzerland, April 29, 2022: The President of Kyrgyzstan NOC, Sadyr Mamytov, has been invited to attend a meeting with IOC President Thomas Bach at the IOC HQ in Lausanne.
The personal invitation came on the sidelines of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) Sports Forum 2022 on April 25-26 in Lausanne.
In a Facebook post, Mamytov said that President Bach congratulated him on his election as NOC President last December and wished him all the best for a successful term. He offered him a meeting at the IOC HQ to discuss the Olympic Movement in his country and a date is now being arranged.
Mamytov is President of the Equestrian Sports Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic and a member of the Olympic Council of Asia Finance Committee. His term as NOC President will run until 2024.
