Lahore, Pakistan, April 26, 2022: In a letter addressed to the Pakistan Olympic Association and Pakistan Federation Baseball, the Baseball Federation of India has confirmed that it will send an Indian baseball team to compete at the 14th South Asian Games in Pakistan in 2023.
The Secretary General of the Indian Baseball Federation, Manoj Kohli, confirmed the participation of the Indian baseball team and congratulated the Pakistan Olympic Association and Pakistan Federation Baseball on hosting the South Asian Games next year.
The President of the PFB, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, has revealed that, along with India, the national teams of Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh, will join hosts Pakistan at next year’s showpiece.
“The Pakistan baseball teams, men’s and women’s, are number one in South Asia and, inshallah, we will win both gold medals for Pakistan in baseball,” Shah said.
