Lahore, Pakistan, April 21, 2022: The Pakistan Olympic Association is conducting a workshop on doping attended by athletes and team officials who are expected to participate at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in July.
The first session of the workshop was held on Tuesday, April 19, with 30 athletes and officials from athletics, badminton, hockey and judo attending online.
Participants from other disciplines - boxing, cricket, gymnastics, squash, swimming, table tennis, weightlifting, wrestling and Paralympic athletes - will attend the second workshop on Thursday, April 21.
The workshop was conducted by the secretary of the Commonwealth Games Association medical commission, Dr. Asad Abbas, at the Pakistan Olympic Association headquarters in Lahore.
All athletes who are set to compete at the Birmingham Games from July 28-August 8 will be required to pass doping tests.
