Pakistan Olympic Association launches Asian Games children’s art competition

Lahore, Pakistan, April 17, 2022: The Pakistan Olympic Association has announced it is organising an Asian Games children’s art competition as the countdown continues to Hangzhou 2022 this September.

The POA is inviting children aged 13 and below to take part in the Olympic Council of Asia project and has highlighted the competition by placing it as the cover of their Facebook account, @NOCPak.

“The Asian Games Drawing Contest offers an excellent opportunity for primary school students in Asia to express their imagination and understanding of the Hangzhou Asian Games and to show their support for their favourite athletes in their own country or region, or to draw their favourite sport,” the POA says.

A judging panel comprised of the National Olympic Committee, Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee HAGOC and the OCA will choose the best four drawings - two by girls and two by boys. The winning entries will be displayed during the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games at the Main Press Centre and the OCA headquarters hotel.

The POA announced that all participants will receive certificates and their artworks will be showcased at NOC Pakistan headquarters.

The deadline for entries is May 10, 2022.
