Thimphu, Bhutan, April 10, 2022: The Bhutan Archery Federation in collaboration with the Bhutan Olympic Committee will hold the Bhutan Grand Prix, the first ever international style compound archery tournament, next month.

The four-day tournament from May 12-15 at the Changlingmethang National Stadium in the capital Thimphu will serve to unearth talent to represent the country at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou this September.

The Bhutan Archery Federation and Woezer Events signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Saturday, April 9, to organise this inaugural event.

The Bhutan Grand Prix will be the biggest compound archery tournament in the country that will create a platform for talented archers. Use of accessories like sights, scopes and triggers will be encouraged in the Asian Games talent identification event.

The last date for registration is April 20.
