Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 30, 2022: The National Olympic Academy of Malaysia has launched its 24th National Olympic Academy Session for Young Participants.
With 25 participants from National Sports Associations and youth NGOs, the National Olympic Academy states that they have started the journey back to normalcy following the restrictions caused by the pandemic for the past two years.
“We will miss our international participants but this will slowly lead to a bigger session next year for our 25th Session,” the Academy said.
The 24th National Olympic Academy Session was launched by the Director of the National Olympic Academy, Nicholas Chan. The participants planned and performed their own opening ceremony, giving them ownership of their own session.
Senior officials from the Olympic Council of Malaysia were also in attendance.
