Doha, Qatar, March 21, 2022: The President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, met the President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), Mr. Witold Banka, and an accompanying delegation in Doha.
The meeting reviewed bilateral sports cooperation between the QOC and WADA, and ways to support and develop the next phase.
In attendance also were the QOC Secretary General H.E. Jassim bin Rashid Al-Buenain and Dr. Ahmed Al Mohammed, vice chairman of Qatar Anti-Doping Commission.
Mr. Banka posted on his Facebook page: “Good exchange with HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, discussing further development of the national Anti-Doping programme. We also had a similar discussion with the heads of the Qatar Anti-Doping Commission and the Anti-Doping Lab Qatar. Thank you for your commitment.”
