Jakarta, Indonesia, March 13, 2022: The President of Indonesia National Olympic Committee, Mr. Raja Sapta Oktohori, was honoured with the Asian Hockey Federation Order of Merit on Saturday, March 12.
The AHF Order of Merit was presented by AHF Chief Executive Dato Tayyab Ikram on behalf of the Olympic Council of Asia's Athletes’ Committee on the eve of the Indonesian NOC’s 70th Anniversary.
Dato Tayyab Ikram was invited by the Indonesian NOC as the Guest of Honour to join them in the 70th Anniversary celebrations.
The award was made in acknowledgment of Mr. Sapta’s countless services and support to the development and welfare of Indonesian and Asian athletes.
Dato Tayyab highlighted the contributions made by Mr. Sapta to the Olympic Movement in Asia and all over the world, and thanked him for his good work towards the betterment of athletes and sports systems in Indonesia.
The Indonesian NOC chief thanked Dato Tayyab and the AHF for their recognition of his work.
