Doha, Qatar, February 24, 2022: The President of Algeria, H.E. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, visited the world-class equestrian centre of Al Shaqab on Monday, February 21, as part of his official visit to Qatar.
The Algerian President was welcomed by the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Shaqab, H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani.
Sheikh Joaan briefed President Tebboune on Al Shaqab’s high-quality facilities that are based on the highest world equestrian standards.
The Algerian President and his delegation attended a horse show which exhibited a number of purebred Arabian horses born at Al Shaqab. The VIP guest expressed his admiration at the facilities and work being carried out.
