Amman, Jordan, February 22, 2022: The Jordan Olympic Committee has renewed its premium sponsorship agreement with Zain Jordan for the seventh successive year.
Zain Jordan, the leading telecom company in the country and across the Middle East and North Africa, has signed on again as a golden sponsor of the Jordan Olympic Committee and will continue to support Jordanian
athletes.
The agreement was signed on Sunday, February 20, by JOC Secretary General Nasser Majali and Zain Jordan CEO Fahad Al-Jassem at the headquarters of the telecom giant.
Under this agreement, Zain Jordan will provide cash incentives to the Jordan Olympic Committee, in addition to 15 scholarships for athletes. This move by Zain comes under its framework of Community Social Responsibility and its continuous keenness to support sports in Jordan.
Zain Jordan also provides support to many Jordanian clubs, Paralympic athletes and individual athletes, and continues to organise several sporting events.
Secretary General Majali praised Zain Jordan for its enduring support to sport and stressed the importance of the partnership. He also pointed out that Jordanian sports and athletes benefited hugely from the involvement of the corporate sector and companies like Zain Jordan.
