Malaysia NOC mourns hammer throw great Semret Singh

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, February 16, 2022: The Olympic Council of Malaysia has expressed deepest condolences to the family of Semret Singh, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15. He was 67.

Semret Singh was a gold medallist in the men’s hammer throw at the 13th Southeast Asian Games Bangkok 1985 and at the 15th SEA Games Kuala Lumpur 1989.

Semret also bagged three SEA Games silver medals at Manila 1981, Singapore 1985 and Jakarta 1987.
