Jordan NOC calls for scholarship applications for international course in Russia

Amman, Jordan, February 6, 2022: The Jordan Olympic Committee has called for applications to pursue a Master of Sports Administration Scholarship in the academic year 2022-23 at the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi.

This opportunity is granted annually to up to 20 students from around the world, covering their tuition fees, airfare and accommodation on the Sochi campus, as well as individual monthly allowances.

One candidate from Jordan will be nominated to the programme with acceptance decisions ultimately in the hands of the university.

The course commences in September 2022 and will end in June 2023. RIOU students have a chance to learn from up-to-date international case studies delivered by leading Russian and international experts in the field of sports management.

Under this programme, students from 76 countries have received grant support to study at RIOU, and graduates are now sports leaders in their own countries.

JOC application requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and fluency in English, the language in which the course is conducted.

The JOC has asked applicants to apply before February 20, and answering the following questions: (a) Why did you apply for the scholarship; (b) Why do you think Jordan Olympic Committee should nominate you for the scholarship; (c) What do you see yourself doing 10 years from now.
