Beijing, China, February 4, 2022: The International Olympic Committee published a list of flagbearers for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics on Friday evening.
The IOC is encouraging National Olympic Committees to select a female and a male flagbearer when possible to promote gender equality.
Here are the 18 Asian NOCs and their flagbearers for the parade of athletes in the Bird’s Nest:
