Seoul, Korea, January 27, 2022: The Korean Sport and Olympic Committee held the flag handover ceremony for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics on Tuesday, January 25.
The President of the KSOC, Lee Kee-heung, presented the national flag to the Chef de Mission of the delegation, Yoon Hong-geun, who is President of the Korean Ice Skating Federation.
The flag presentation took place at the Olympic Hall of Olympic Park in the Songpa-gu district of Seoul at the Olympic team's launching ceremony.
A total of 63 Korean athletes will compete in 13 disciplines of the sports programme at the Beijing Winter Olympics, which run from February 4-20.
CDM Yoon Hong-geun is Chairman of the Genesis BBQ Group, a sponsor of the KSOC.
The CDM said that the Korean athletes vowed to achieve their goals, despite the problems caused by the pandemic.
